Residents and staff at YMCA Housing’s supported accommodation on Shakespeare Street enjoyed Halloween in style this year with everything from pumpkin carving, themed games and scary movies to pizza making in the hostel’s Training Kitchen.
The event saw a wonderful turn-out as the day attracted a variety of interest ranging from those who wanted to create a pumpkin self-portrait to residents getting stuck into kneading dough for pizzas whilst donning their Halloween costumes and masks!
Housing Development Manager Sarah Rogers led the charge in her witch get-up by pulling out all the stops so everyone could enjoy an action-packed day of seasonal activities – even kitting out the shared common room spaces with fang-tastic decorations to set the scene for the residents’ spooky film night.
