New senior leadership direction at Nottinghamshire YMCA

This month, we said a heartfelt farewell to our pioneering Chief Executive Officer Will Wakefield, whilst Craig Berens stepped up from being Joint CEO to take the reins as the new Group CEO of Nottinghamshire YMCA and its branch charities.

…but that is not the only transformational senior leadership news we have to share!

Corporate Development and Fundraising

We are delighted to announce that industry leader and YMCA consultant Jo Bradley-Fortune has been appointed as Director of our brand new Corporate Development and Fundraising department, based in Nottingham.

Having spent more than 17 years as a leader in the sector, Jo has been selected to head up the new team following her extensive portfolio of expertise in the world of business. Jo’s wealth of experience ranges from her pioneering work as Executive Director of the charity Groundwork and championing Inclusion as part of D2N2’s Investment Board Membership to launching her own Nottingham-based venture, On Mission Management Consultancy.

“I am delighted to join such a wonderful organisation that works to improve the lives of the most vulnerable in our society, our children, young people, the homeless and the excluded,” said Jo. “My role will see me reach out develop partnerships and alliances to secure and improve their opportunities and futures.”
