The Malt Cross is delighted to announce that the cafe, bar and events venue is set to re-open to the public on Friday 28 September.
After being saved from closure by Nottinghamshire YMCA last month, a ‘soft launch’ event will be held for friends of the two charities on Thursday 27 September, with the doors being thrown open to the public for business as usual the following day.
And the celebrations will not stop there. The Malt Cross has also announced plans to host a formal re-opening party event for the public on the weekend of 6-8 October to celebrate the venue’s 142ndBirthday.
“We are delighted to have saved this sacred space so dear to Nottingham where liquor and fellowship is hallowed,” said Will Wakefield, Chief Executive Officer at Nottinghamshire YMCA.
“Much hard work has already gone into getting the building and staff team ready for the big re-launch, and I know everyone at both the Malt Cross and Nottinghamshire YMCA warmly welcomes all our friends and supporters to join us in what will be a very special celebration.”
