Make a child smile with exciting new toys at our YMCA Childcare clubs!
This Christmas, we are asking our childcare service users to donate their unwanted toys to our childcare clubs. If you have anything that you’d like to clear out before or after Christmas, please consider donating them to our service!
We are proud to serve families across Nottinghamshire. Our before and After Schools Clubs cater for children of all backgrounds with a huge variety of indoor and outdoors sports, games, and STEAM activities.
The benefits of recycling toys are endless!
Many people forget that toys foster an imagination, encourage role play, and improve hand-eye coordination. Play is an integral part of a child’s life; it’s how children start to understand the world around them.
A toy donation, in addition to being beneficial to the welfare of the environment, gives a child the chance to enjoy something they might not otherwise have the chance to enjoy. New toys would enable us to provide an even richer play and learning experience for children at our clubs.
You can drop off your donations to the YMCA Senior Play Leaders at the following childcare sites:
- Djanogly Northgate and Sherwood Academy
- Edgewood Primary and Nursery School
- Middleton Primary and Nursery School
- St Peter’s Church of England Primary Academy Mansfield
- John Hunt Primary School
- YMCA youth and community centre, Aspley
If you have any questions regarding toy donations, our clubs, or you would like to book a sessions for your child, you can get in contact with our bookings team by calling 0115 711 7006 or by emailing childcare@nottsymca.org.
