Managing locations across the region with their HQ based in Nottingham city centre, where it has occupied the same building since 1941, the charity also runs a 24-hour gym with CrossFit facilities, affordable childcare services and young people’s programmes.
The project will include eye-catching and innovative promotional materials to raise the profile of YMCA’s gym, Adventure Guides, day camps, YMCA Digital‘s music sessions and fundraising activities.
It will also aim to promote the charity’s new YMCA Newark and Sherwood Community and Activity Village, based in Newark-on-Trent, which offers a range of affordable sports, health and childcare programmes for young people, families, sports organisations and the wider community.
Threerooms, based in Strelley Hall, Strelley Village, was selected due to its extensive experience in marketing charities and businesses in Nottinghamshire and worldwide.
Simon Brighty, Operations Manager – Marketing, Communications and Funding, at Nottinghamshire YMCA, said: “Here at Nottinghamshire YMCA, we aim to build stronger communities by promoting mind, body and spirit. Through our core values of caring, honesty, respect and social responsibility, our range of programmes aim to support local individuals, families and communities to improve health and wellbeing for all.
“To make this a success, and help us to improve many people’s lives, we need a strong strategic and creative agency behind us. I am delighted that we have managed to find one, that can deliver upon both of these areas, in Threerooms.
“The agency has already begun delivering top quality content to deadline and we very much look forward to working with them on new ways to reach out and help even more local people in our community.”
Speaking about the project, Ian Morris, Managing Director of Threerooms, said: “It’s such a privilege for our team to be working with such a historic and important organisation, but especially in our home city of Nottingham.
“We’re looking forward to supporting the Nottinghamshire YMCA marketing team for the next three years to meet the aspirations of the organisation.”
