Nottingham’s volunteer Street Pastors mark 12 years supporting the city’s night time community with celebratory event at the iconic Malt Cross.
Having postponed their tenth and eleventh anniversary celebrations due to the pandemic, the event was an opportunity for the hardworking and dedicated volunteers, past and present, to come together and share memories over a delicious buffet and a selection of cakes. The pastors were also recognised and thanked for the great work they do patrolling Nottingham’s streets on Friday and Saturday nights, helping vulnerable people and supporting the city’s emergency services.
Potential volunteers were also warmly welcomed to join in, meet the team and find out more about how rewarding volunteering can be.
